Administration

Office Volunteers

Preparations for retreats, conferences and special events are often weighted with administrative tasks which require volunteers to complete. If you might be able to be on a call list for these times, please contact Chris Brock.

Facilities Maintenance

Custodial and professional maintenance services for the facility are generally provided through outside contractors. However, much of the routine minor repair and maintenance for the church is accomplished through volunteers. If you have experience in plumbing, electrical, painting, landscaping or other facilities related skill sets and would be interested in serving on the facilities team, please contact Frederick Falk.

Our Facilities

The campus of The Church at Canyon Creek is located on 21 acres off of FM 620. The campus includes an 832 seat theater style worship center, a two story, 20,000 sq. ft. education building, and 302 parking spaces. The master plan anticipates future development which includes expansion of the worship center to accommodate 1564, additional education facilities to house 1468, an administrative building, and expansion of parking capacity to 948.

The worship center is fully functional as a performing arts theatre, equipped with excellent systems for sound, lighting and video. Many of the larger education rooms are also equipped with these systems. The design and technology of the facilities not only enhance on-going ministries and events, but also make The Church at Canyon Creek an attractive venue for concerts, conferences or other community and regional events.

As you might guess, there is something going on here at The Church at Canyon Creek all the time, which means that the scheduling of facilities needs is very important. All church ministries and events must be coordinated through the church office. Ministry leaders should complete a calendar request form to be submitted for approval. Please do not assume that a space will be available, even during non-peak hours.

Some areas may also be available for private use by members and non-members. These events are subject to specific guidelines and usage fees, and must also be coordinated through the church office. Scheduling may be contingent upon the availability of appropriate custodial, technical or logistical support.

Policies

In addition to a statement of faith and bylaws which define what we believe and how we are governed at a high level, we often need more focused policies to address specific issues. Click on the links below to read additional church policies.
