MONTY WATSON and his wife, Kathy, have been married 27 years. They have two sons: Andy (23), who is married to Tori, and Adam (20), a sophomore in college. Monty has completed his first year as Senior Pastor and Kathy teaches elementary gifted classes at Laurel Mountain Elementary School. Monty’s passion is teaching the Word to change lives. His prayer is that over the next 12 months, each Christian at TCACC would develop a relationship with a non-believer and share Christ with that person sometime over the next year.

DAMON ANDREWS has been married to his wife, Barbara, for 28 years. They have two sons, Dustin (23), recently married to Nicole, and Parker (18). Damon has served in the areas of Worship and Administration for 20 years, as well as serving on the Church Council. Barbara has been a pastor’s assistant for 15 years. She also serves in the worship and youth ministries of the church. As an elder, Damon would look forward to leading the church to experience God’s presence and power in worship, a revolution of our men committed to leading and serving, and adults coming to Christ as a regular occurrence.

DAVID MELLES and his wife, Karen, recently celebrated 28 years of marriage. They have four children: Beth (24), Sara (22), who is married to Neil Altuna, Joel (19) and Noah (12). David is a Product Marketing Engineer at Freescale. The Melles family has been members of the church for 5 years. David is an ABF teacher and also serves as one of our worship leaders. Karen is currently involved with leading Ladies Bible Study, coordinates our youth Deep End, and is involved in many other ministries of our church. David is most passionate about worship and teaching God’s Word. His vision for our church would be that, by God’s grace, we will continue using the power of His word and worship to bring about transformation.

STEVEN TESTONE has been married to his wife, Lyndsey, for 7 years. They have two children: Kate (5) and Jack (2). Both Steven and Lyndsey grew up in our church and have benefitted from the legacy of their committed Christian families. Steven owns his own business, Snappages. Lyndsey works part-time in the Canyon Creek Preschool. Steven previously served on the Church Council. He and Lyndsey both have taught in the Youth Ministry, and Steven continues to lead a Deep End small group of young men. More recently, Steven and Lyndsey have moved into Adult Bible Fellowship leadership, where Steven teaches a class for 20-something’s. Steven is most passionate about studying and teaching God’s Word to others. He has a burden to see people transformed by God’s truths.

DONNIE DIXON has been married to his wife, Carolyn, for 27 years. They have four sons: Garrett (22), married to Genesea, Hunter (20), Tanner (17) and Mitchell (14). Donnie is the founding pastor and served as Senior Pastor for 22 years. Donnie now leads our Discipleship and Family Ministries. His wife, Carolyn, is a professional counselor and therapist and has taught the Ladies Bible Fellowship class for many years. Donnie is excited about renewed attention and intentionality towards the spiritual maturity of our church. He is passionate about leading more people to Christ and equipping believers to be faith builders.

STEVEN HIERONYMUS and his wife, Rhonda, have been married 30 years. The have two children, David (26) and Jennifer (24), who is married to Leo Higgins. Steven is an entrepreneur and owns his own business. Steven and Rhonda have been members of the church for 21 years. Steven has served on the Church Council on several occasions. He was in much of the major planning as our church outgrew our facilities necessitating relocation. His wife, Rhonda, teaches third grade and is a vocalist in the Worship Ministry. Steven has a passion for engaging newcomers to our church and connecting them with support and guidance as needed. As an elder, Steven believes he would be answering God’s calling to the privilege and responsibility of serving this church body.

MARK PERKINS and his wife, Rhoda, have been married for 24 years. They have 3 boys: Sean (20), Chad (18) and Chase (13). Mark is COO of Tenura Holdings, Inc. Rhoda works as a customer service rep for Texas Mutual Insurance Company. Mark and his family joined with our church in 1988 and have served in many capacities over the last 22 years. Mark has served on the Church Council and is currently on the Personnel Team. Rhoda is involved in Women’s Ministry, VBS, and has participated in our mission trips to Progreso, TX. Mark’s vision for our church is that we would be moved from a place he calls “comfortable Christianity” into lives totally consumed by a passion to live for God’s glory.
